Add-Ons I Use

Auracle (De)Buff Monitor Customizable Buff/Debuff Timer

Tracks relevant buffs and debuffs on myself, my target and my focus in a concise highly visible format. The alternative is to weed out the irrelevant information from an ever shifting sea of buffs and debuffs in other places. Auracle is especially handy on my druid and other hybrid toons since I can pick and choose what to track in which forms and in which spec. Auracle also allows multiple effects to be tracked as one so if someone has applied a buff/debuff for me I don't have to myself. This is also handy for a focus crowd control target, you can track exactly when your crowd control will wear off and if you are working with someone else (i.e. PVP diminishing returns) you can track their crowd control in the same place.

NugComboBar Combo Point Tracker

Provides a way to display combo points for your current target front and center (or wherever else you like). Can also display holy power for paladins, shards for warlocks, evangelism for priests, and probably more I am forgetting. I prefer using it with the classic skin.

Outfitter Equipment Manager Replacement

The default equipment manager doesn't have great support for partial sets of gear. I have a few pieces of gear that go together for specific reasons for example a fishing set or a frost resist set that I have long since vendored. Outfitter allows me to equip those few pieces on top of other sets and just as quickly take them off again. Outfitter also provides a listing of all soulbound gear that isn't presently included in a set which allows you to quickly add new items to sets and sell unused items without searching through bags. Finally Outfitter extends the shift click equipment comparison to include same slot items from other sets so you can check if am item is a offspec upgrade without switching gear.

Quartz Cast Bar Replacement

Includes a representation of latency in the cast bar which allows me to begin casting my next spell as soon as possible rather than wait for the animation to complete. Little things like moving as soon as possible after mounting without canceling the cast become trivial. The increased size also does wonders for being able to recognize and react to enemy casters.

ArkInventory Bag/Bank Replacement

Combines all my bags into one giant bag which is sorted automatically by item type based on customizable rules; same goes for my bank. The benefit is that I don't waste any time sorting stuff in my bags, I open my bags and know exactly where my quest items are, where my greens to mail/disenchant are, etc. Another perk to ArkInventory is being able to search for an item by name to see which toon and/or which guild bank has some as well as getting item counts in tooltips.

Carbonite Map/Quest Tracker Replacement

Provides a wonderful resizable, movable, zoomable, translucent map frame to keep up while you are questing to show where you are in relation to quest objectives. Quite an improvement over the static map frame provided by blizzard. Also Carbonite will order active quests by proximity and track them all automatically which is convenient over the default hunt and peck quest system. I've also recently started using the resource node tracking in place of Gatherer so I can easily plan a route around a zone to hit all the ore and herbs.

Pitbull Unit/Raid Frame Replacement

The default unit frames can be configured to either display total health or a percentage, but not both at the same time. Percentages are important for many bosses while I prefer actual values otherwise. Pitbull allows me to customize my unit frames to display just the information I want. The default raid frames can't draw your attention to a player with a removable debuff aside from displaying an icon. I use Pitbull to highlight players with removable debuffs based on the debuff type. The other thing I don't like about the default unit frames is that the artwork around them takes up such a large percentage of the frame, Pitbull is very spartan so I can get more information that is easier to read in the same space or less.

Clique Unit Frame/Casting Enhancement

Clique does a number of things like allow you to create mouse shortcuts to click and cast spells directly onto unit/raid frames, but I use it for a simpler purpose; to select targets on mouse down rather than mouse up. I was surprised Pitbull didn't have this feature, but with the new default cast on button down feature it became pretty important to speed target selection to match spell casting to avoid casting spells on your previous target. Pretty big deal when healing. Now if only there was a mod that selected enemy mobs on mouse down so I don't keep casting interrupts on my previous target when trying to flip quickly and cast.

TotemTimers Shaman Totem Manager

The built in totem interface has a couple omissions which keeps me using TotemTimers. The main reason being that I can't switch my totem sets in combat. The default interface gives me 3 sets of totems, but I only ever use one and just flip totems as needed. It changes too often to remember and manage flipping between those sets in combat. I also like the countdown timers similar to the buff/debuff option which both TotemTimers and Pitbull provide, but I stick with TotemTimers for the combat flipping.

Fortress Data Broker Display

My new theory is to do away with a static bar and move my informational bits to various places around my screen where they are the most relevant. Fortress makes that possible as well as allowing me to create little bars/clusters wherever I want. There are so many nooks and crannies scattered throughout the default UI and I've taken a fancy to filling them with information I previously had lined up along the top with a data broker bar mod. I still use ChocolateBar on my laptop since space is at a premium on the smaller display.
Link
DropTheCheapestThing Data Broker Plug In

Shift click drops the cheapest junk item in my inventory. The list of junk items defaults to grays, but can be expanded to include useless food, fish oil/scales, light feathers, etc. Really handy way to make space while questing or running a dungeon when you don't want to bother going out of your way to sell stuff. When visiting a vendor all junk items are automatically sold.

RepairBroker Data Broker Plug In

Shows my current gear condition as well as cost to repair. I've also configured it to automatically repair when I visit a a vendor that can do repairs, but only if I am exalted with their faction.

DeadlyBossMods Boss Fight Timers/Warnings

Provides timers for boss abilities as well as warnings when something important is happening, like I am standing in a big ol' fire. It also does some automated marking of persons of interest for some fights since I am often a raid leader or assist. I've most recently been impressed by the new proximity radar feature which replaced the /range list with a small map letting you see where people are in relation to you.

LushAdvancedLoot Need/Greed Loot Frame Enhancement

Displays how many people have rolled need next to the need button, same for the greed and disenchant buttons. Also displays a list of people that have not rolled next to the frame. All that information makes it much easier to decide what I should roll based on the situation. This project has since abandoned for some time, but the mod still works like a charm.

Skada Real-Time Combat Statistics Logging and Threat Meter

Tracks combat stats in real time on an overall or per fight basis. Really helpful for trying new things on a fight per fight basis and get a rough idea of what works best. I also use it quite often to figure out cause of death which is also tracked alongside death counts. As a raid leader it is also quite handy to have a rough idea of how your DPS compare in performance since that tends to come up in certain fights when balancing half and half or giving your top performers specific tasks. I am a recent convert from Recount/Broker_Recount since Skada is supposed to be more efficient, plus I was also able to get rid of Omen for tracking threat since Skada does that as well. Fewer, less resource intensive, mods means less time spent on the blue bar. I also use a couple extensions: SkadaHealAbsorbs for better healing info, and Recount like buttons with Skada Window Buttons.

Broker_Currency Data Broker Plug In

Shows the gold available on my current toon as well as my alts. It also shows PVE and PVP points and tokens as well as tracking how much gold I made/lost today, yesterday and the last week. Quite handy fo figuring out which toons to rob when I am looking to make a large purchase.

Wow Instant Messenger Whisper Frames

Opens a new frame for each whisper conversion when out of combat. Trying to keep guild chat straight from multiple whispers and not accidentally reply to the wrong person/channel isn't easy without an add-on. The default chat frame is good for splitting large channels apart, but whispers are rather fluid and are better suited to separate windows.

DoubleWideTradeskills Profession Frame Enhancement

Doubles the width of my trade skill frame making it a lot easier to find things with less scrolling. I go from beign able to look at like four recipes at a time to 14. Recipes on one side and details on the other. Basically makes it look like the quest frame.

ProfessionsVault Known/Learnable Recipe Coloring/Tooltip Extension

Shows which toons can learn as recipe, or could learn once their skill is higher, right in the tooltip. Very helpful when looking through a guild bank, auction house or even a random vendor to see if any recipes are useful in the sense that I don't have them yet. It also colors the icons to make it even more obvious. Best of all the profession scanning on each toon is instantaneous.

CastBy Buff/Debuff Provider Identifier

Shows me who buffed/debuffed what right in the tooltip. I know who dotted that crowd control target. I know who left aspect of the pack on. I know which pally did one buff so I can ask someone else to do the other. Surprisingly handy, I am amazed this isn't part of the default UI. This project has since abandoned for some time, but the mod still works like a charm.

Auctionator Auction Frame/Item Tooltip Enhancement

I am not an auction buff, in fact I am quite the pack rat and can't be bothered to sell anything half the time. Occasionally I identify some surplus item that I will likely never use and will go to auction it off. I used to use Auctioneer which while very feature rich has become extremely bloated for what I actually used it for. Auctionator provides everything I used Auctioneer for in a smaller footprint.

kRestack Bag/Bank Space Reclaimer

ArkInventory has a button to restack items to reclaim bag space, but as far as I know it still doesn't have this capability to move items from generic bags into profession specific bags when possible. This add-on also automatically does the restacking where as I have to hit a button in ArkInventory.

Capping Battleground Timers

Shows timers for battleground resources and/or nodes as well as win timers when applicable. Also shows some extra information like flag carrier names and health in Warsong Gulch and Eye of the Storm. Oh, and it shows the ever important Tol Barad timer and who is currently in control.

Who Pinged!? Map Ping Tracker

Displays a line in my chat window with the name and time someone pings the minimap. I must admit I get more use out of it poking fun at those who repeatedly ping the map than anything useful, but it has been helpful in a raid or two.

Tidy Plates Name Plate Enhancement

More importantly Threat Plates is what I actually grabbed this for. I've relied on just watching mobs with an eagle eye for so long I never knew what I was missing. Keeping an eye on a large AOE group is so easy when any uncontrolled mobs are highlighted. I also plan to make use of the name plate debuff tracker to help track my debuffs on multiple targets. Should come in handy for my affliction lock as well as lacerate stacks on my bear.

Overachiever Achievement Tools and Tweaks

This add-on tells me when I need to kill a critter, love a critter or eat/drink something for an achievement. I'm a passive aggressive achievement whore. I can't be bothered to actively pursue an achievement, but if I happen to be there an an add-on can tell me in a tooltip to do something, then sure. Overachiever also allows me to move my achievement window around which is handy sometimes.

NeedyGreedy Data Broker Plug In

Shows who rolled on the past few items, what they rolled, if they needed, greeded or passed, and who won. It also displays icons with tooltips for the items that dropped.

LargerMacroIconSelection Macro Icon Selection Enhancement

Makes the itty bitty window where you give your macro a name and an icon much much bigger so you can actually find a specific icon without going crazy. I usually don't go looking for icons, but once in a while I do and this is really nice.

LoggerHead Automated Combat Log Enabler

I often look to online analysis tools such as World of Logs to compare progress over time and get a much more detailed look than a tool like Recount can provide. The problem is that to use online tools I have to remember to enable combat logging to write the combat log data to a text file. This mod asks each time you enter a new instance if it should be logged and then takes care of it automatically; otherwise I am prone to forget.

Because It's Red, That's Why

Ran AQ40 last night for my first time. Was a pug consisting mostly a 25 man raiding group which some guildies run with, few other guildies and some other people.

So loot rules are laid out, greed everything except mounts you already have and pass on the red one. Of course a few dissidents like myself suggested needing the red one would be a better course of action, but it was decided that someone would roll greed and be upset.

Somewhere in the back and forth on red bugs and how rare they were someone said that one probably would not drop so we wouldn't have to worry about it. I replied that I was lucky and one would drop off the very first mob.

Well it did. Can't say for sure it was the first mob, but after looting the first pull sure enough we got a red beetle. Sure enough most people passed as instructed, but being the untrusting sort when it comes to people I don't know I waited it out a little. Surprise surprise, someone greeded it; probably just not paying attention and greeding everything. At that point I greeded as well as did one other. Roll took till two pulls after to complete, so I think someone put a lot of thought into it or something.

I won it though, doubling my number of mounts. Won a blue beetle off a greed roll later on in the evening too tripling my number of mounts I came in with. More importantly I got the achievement for AQ40 leaving just BWL.

Enough bragging about the red bug I never knew I wanted. We didn't have much of any trouble except on the twins, after tanking assignments went out (and I wasn't included) I figured I'd just dps. Well tanking was only happening on one side of the room so after I figured out how the fight worked by observation I just started picking up the melee twin and sure enough things started to work better. Sad I didn't notice sooner as the enrage timer came up soon after and we wiped. 2nd attempt went pretty smooth though, only lost the melee guy 3 times (once was my fault).

Catch 22

If you rarely farm mats, don't do dailies, play on alts when not raiding then an epic flying mount isn't all that appealing, but I still want one! The irony is the things your epic flying mount is most useful for are the very same things you need to do to get one.

I find myself hovering between 1000 and 2000 gold at any given time across all my toons. I do make more money than I spend, but I don't generally make it all that fast. Most my money goes to repairs, enchants, gems and random stuff I can't be bothered to farm. I play warcraft to have fun, not to grind for hours.

Anyways I have actually been doing the Sons of Hodir dailies. ~gasp~ I know, how unlike me, but I figured the shoulder enchants are nice and I'd make some money. Turns out I don't make all that much more than I would not doing dailies. Of course I could do more dailies, but that gets into the whole boring grind territory.

I am getting close to the 2000 gold mark again and then dual specs will come out and I will want at least two toons to have that, back to square one. Perhaps the epic flight skill will get cheaper one day.

Off-Spec, Off-Role, Off the Charts Fun

Last night just before I was thinking of heading to bed a guildie was looking for a tank, healer and dps for regular nexus. For some reason I saw healer and was instantly compelled to heal. So I volunteered. I was also on Skype with my sister's roommate at the time who plays a hunter and she also agreed to help out.

So we never did find that last DPS, so we four manned it. So here we have our 72 ret pally, 71 rogue, an 80 survival hunter and an 80 feral tank decked out in healing gear (1360 bonus heals). All numbers are from memory, but close enough.

So we got summoned and were waiting for our hunter to get her butt scratching tanking pet, still level 79. In the meantime I saw a flagged shammy on his flying mount by the stone. I quick flipped to my pvp gear and pounced on him, got him a good way down before he took off as the rogue says "whoa!" in party chat, "you almost killed him". Found that amusing although I was rather dissapointed my stun missed; should of put on my dps gear for the extra hit, but I was thinking ahead to an all out blood bath if more horde jumped in.

So our hunter tank gets back and we head in. We buff and I ask our tank to have at the first pull. With a little hesitation the gorilla goes in and we are off. Healing is not bad at all and my mana regen is high enough that I can dps a little without any worries.

So we get a few pulls in and it is going a little slow so I flip to bear gear heal up and gather up the next three pulls and we tear them down. We get the the trash around the first boss and after the first pull I noticed they they do AOE damage, which is considerably bad when you have all low level melee DPS and no healer. Pretty sure we lost one here, had our 70's die a total of maybe 4 or 5 times. Used two battle rezzes and two OOC rezzes I can remember.

So I go back to healing at that point, fun fun. First boss was awesome, I started out healing, but eventually the pet couldn't handle the split and all hell broke loose, I flipped to bear in healer gear and 3 of us lived to the end. Poor gorilla died too.

Healing along to the second boss without incident, still on skype we were organizing crowd control between sleep, roots and ice trap. Our pally was stunning mobs here and there too so one pull of 4 we actaully cced everything.

The second boss was pretty easy. I did a little AOE mixed in with my heals to help take the adds and rifts down.

It is amazing some of the things you pick up on healing an instance that you would completely miss while tanking or dpsing. Most of which is who takes what damage from what when. Like doing the instance for the first time in many respects.

We blow though the trash to the 3rd boss and take it down again pretty easily. I got hammered by one spike on a long heal, flipped to cat to avoid taking extra damage. Near the end I went kitty to burn it down.

Little more trash to the last boss and on the way we are all wondering how it is going to go down. The pet can't be moved easily to avoid the damage over time, but it turns out that it can be done to some extent. I was bouncing around like a stereotypical night elf occasionally stopping to cast a larger healer. End of the fight I actually had to make a choice of who to save and who to let die (best part of healing is the choices like that), so we lost one, but boss was defeated. Got through in like 45 minutes. Was awesome fun and I can't wait to do another instance like that.

In other off spec news, prior to my nexus run I ran a heroic old kingdom with some guildies. It was the last heroic I hadn't completed so it sounded like fun even though I needed nothing from it save badges.

We had your usual learning the fights wipes, but made the timer for the daily and ten backtracked to take down the bosses we skipped. Turns our that big shroom gave us the most trouble. Our healer remembered good shrooms and bad shrooms so our first attempt I ran around with the boss beating on the healthy shrooms, later in the fight noticing that they remove the mini debuff. They were mostly extinct the first wave since I had eaten them all. We wiped eventually after both healers bit the bullet, poison shrooms no doubt and the boss seems to like to hit people at random.

The second attempt after a brief break and reading about the fight I confirmed that the healthy shrooms indeed remove the debuff and that the debuff reduces you damage which I noticed as well as you defense by 500. Good thing I am a bear and don't use defense to stay crit immune.

First our hunter goes down by a poison shroom, that poison is quite nasty. Then we loose our mage, then our healer. So it is just me and our ret pally Friginn (he asked for some attention), and we finish off the last 10% or so of the boss with him healing. So yeah that is the off-spec tie in.

Gone are the Days of Creative Pulls

Used to be back in the day feral faerie fire was pretty lame and growl had no range on it. We druids used balance spells to pull and get a little aggro on multiple mobs during a pull. Wrath and a double moonfire for 3 mobs seemed most used. Hurricane was awesome for AOE pulls, but with the cooldown you couldn't use it all the time.

With the buffs to tanking grabbing aggro and keeping it is nowhere near as fun as it once was, I can just tag one mob now with faerie fire and maybe growl on a 2nd then just beat them as they run to me. I still do the hurricane thing once in a while for kicks, but I can't remember the last time I used wrath and moonfire I only use to tap quest mobs from flight form pretty much (evil I know, as I flip to cat form and land without a scratch).

My all time favorite pull was a line of sight pull down the ramp for the trash before opera in Karazan. I stealth up, wrath + moonfire the first pull of two once the pat is gone, flip to cat and dash downstairs to the group, flip to bear and tank my heart out. Any pull that uses all 3 druid forms has to be cool.

Gone are the days of pulling with balance spells perhaps, but there is always our new crowd control. I just love rooting melee mobs and sleeping beasts, sometimes both, to pull then pick them up as the CC breaks. By then the other mobs are usually dead and it takes some burden off the healer, but mostly it is just fun.

Dirty Dailies

It struck me yesterday, my first day of doing dailies honored with the Sons of Hodir, that they have some pretty dirty quest names.

Polishing the Helm

Blowing Hodir's Horn

Thrusting the Spear (and before you can thrust it you must do a quest to raise it!)

I like my shoulder enchants as much as the next gal, but what exactly do I have to do to get them? I suppose things get lonely without any Daughters of Hodir.

Historically I have never done dailies. Yes I know they give you money and no I do not have my epic flying form yet. Still there always seems to be something more exciting to do. I could get used to this doing a few dailies every day, but lets not jinx it.

I did get to do thrusting the spear for the first time. I heard the horror stories and had already done some reading on how the quest works. Sadly the devil is in the details. First attempt I tried spearing the dragon from the air, after all I had used a similar method to jump between dragons for a previous quest in mid air. Turns out it dismounts you and you fall to your death, provided you manage to get into combat prior to getting your flight form off.

For my second attempt I decided to start on the ground, easy enough. Finding dragons was a little slow since lot of people were doing the quest it seemed. I spear my dragon and started stabbing away when I noticed I forgot to heal after my rez. I let go and flipped to bird form and made it safely back to the ground to heal and grab yet another dragon.

Third time is the charm and with any luck I will get it first time today.

Three Heroics, Yay!

I am lucky to get one heroic done on any given day, but yesterday I had the pleasure of doing three.

Started out in AN (I abbreviate so as no to butcher Azul-Nerub to badly). Had the usual skirmisher healer mixup at the start of the first boss and my poor healer got chopped down. Luckily between a few cooldowns and a a shadow priest tossing a couple heals we lived and I got a battle rez off before the next group. Rest went like clockwork cept one unlucky wipe on the last boss.

Not to shabby for essentially 4 manning it, we brought along a guildie for his very first heroic.

I did do a little reading on skirmishers, turns out that a hunter's tranquilizing shot will calm them down so they go back to the tank rather than aggroing on the person farthest from them. Would of been good info considering there were two hunters in the party. I generally just go with the kill them first plan which always seems to work pretty well.

After AN it was off to Violet Hold for some easy badges. Got the water boss for the first time in quite a while and the etheral. Now the etheral I had kited successfully at least a half a dozen times without incident, but yesterday I must of gotten just a little too far away from the orbs and the entire group got teleported to almost certain death. Luckily one of the hunters hit disengage right away and survived to watch the boss die. This all happened while the boss was at less than 1%. Rest of the group ran back in and had time to skin some dragons and grab badges before the next portal.

You do notice the missing DPS bringing along someone who'd never done heroics. We got 2 and 3 adds from portals where we usually only get one. More rep though so it wasn't really a problem, unless you were our healer and forgot to put you tabbard on till just now.

The last heroic we did was Utgarde Pinnacle, and people say that it is hard. We lost our brand new DPSer and got another new to WotLK guildie to fill in. He'd run a few heroics so had a bunch of his quest rewards replaced already.

Skipping stuff speeds things along so I pulled to the right to avoid the first pull and just take out a few skeletons, we jump... oh my where is that hunter pet going. So we killed the first pull of 3 then took out the Abom for good luck since we'd be coming that way from the last boss anyway.

Went for the achievement on the first boss, wiped once then got it the 2nd time easy. Turns out the people like to AOE the adds and when there is the abom to keep alive they get wary and let the healer die. I usually take out the adds more or less single handedly as the tank since I have nothing better to do while ranged DPS continues on the boss. This time I was of course dancing with an abom to get him under the sword without me getting under it too.

Rest of the instance went pretty smooth, missed the spear achievement, but we volunteered a self admitted slow clicker to do it. Had one near wipe on a line of sight pull; healer got heal happy, but my battle rez was ready again and everything went fine.

Three battle rezzes while tanking that night, new personal best I think.

25-Man Tanking Debut

Yesterday was the first time I can say with certainly that I tanked 25 man content. Can't count offtanking a bit of trash here or there or hopping in to replace a dead tank or even the loot pinata that is Archavon. I soaked up the hatefuls on patchwerk! There was one wipe, but after a healing reorganization we came through with seconds to spare.

Little did I know the shortage of tanks in BC wouldn't transfer into WotLK, shame since I really love tanking. I am actually in a DPS role in both my 10 and 25 man runs, but remain tank specced. At first as I was running heroics and it opened more doors, but as it stands now I am putting out decent damage too so I have no desire to respec. I had originally planned to look at a pure cat spec come dual specs, but looking at how I've been scaling as I gear up I am pretty set on going for resto as my 2nd spec right now. I have maintained a decent healing set since forever (even while leveling) and have always been confident in healing regular instances and some of the easier heroics. Having a tree spec would allow me to heal 10 mans given my current gear.

Enough about that though, I took 2.5 million damage opposed to the main pally tanks 2 million (not sure if I should be proud of that or not yet). I have never seen that much damage fly by so fast.

As the only feral druid that evening I had first and only dibs on a few nice upgrades. Haven't gotten that much stuff since my first couple trips through Kara. Spent the majority of my DKP still on a couple generic physical dps items, an amulet and cloak.

Can't help but to wonder how savage defenses will affect the patchwerk fight. I have yet to look closely at the numbers, but my gut tells me it will be a nerf for this fight.

And so it begins...

After reading other druid (and hunter) blogs related to World of Warcraft over the past few months I've always fancied writing my own. Decided to go for it after reading BBB earlier as his account of an AN pug and saying to myself, wow I did that just the other day, but without as much drama.

So a bit about me, I started playing WoW seriously a little over a year ago, before that it took a few 10/14 day trials to get me hooked. Before that I was playing Tibia, another MMO which got me started into all this.

Starting out well after the release of BC I was wobbling back and forth between my druid, Sveika, and my hunter, Elu. My druid was level twenty-something when I upgraded to BC and made a draenei hunter. I ended up leaving my druid back at level 30ish and my hunter made it to 70 first. I got involved with a guild Kara run and eventually a 25 man run doing SSS and TK. Once my hunter was settled into the end game I focused back on my druid.

I actually came back to my druid since a couple other guildies had toons around the same level and were working on those at the same time. The people that had brought me into the guild even. That kept up till the low 50s and then I was back on my own for the rest of the way to 70. Oddly enough I liked my druid much better despite the fact I had abandoned her earlier to take the easier path of the hunter.

Just reaching 70 only a couple months before the next expansion (I came to find out later) I crafted myself some starter tanking gear and the week after I hit 70 I was tanking the guild Kara run. My hunter joined a second guild Kara run and continued to run 25 man content weekly. My druid slowly geared up to the point where I was looking to run 25 man content and boom, the expansion.

Lucky me I had of course planned a trip to Yellowstone the week of the expansion. So I was a little late getting started, but only two weeks this time opposed to an entire year or so. I so enjoyed my druid so I was of course going to level her up first, but my 25 man was still counting on my hunter and I certainly did not want to let them down. About the point when my druid was 73 and my hunter 71 my druid was accepted into my 25 man in place of my hunter, a bunch of other people swapped mains at that point as well. Haven't touched my hunter since.

So here I am with the tables turned, my druid running in a guild naxx run in addition to 25 man content and my hunter left behind. This time my hunter will most likely remain dormant as I have three other alts that I am working on.

I have a rogue which is leveling mostly just for the enchanting/tailoring professions. It is convenient to be able to mail greens and cloth and take care of simple enchants and bags on your own. Not to mention having enchanting mats handy saves some money at the AH. At level 39 at the moment, so a bit more to go before I can start sharding northrend greens.

I also have a resto shaman (yes I have been leveling resto the whole time) which is now at 58 and just starting into the outlands. I preferred the shaman for healing over the other healing specs I've tried, but with dual specs coming out my druid will be handling my healing urges for a while.

Lastly I have a death knight (who doesn't) on the horde side which I log onto from time to time. My guild has a guild of horde alts which meet once in a while to run instances and do group quests. Surprisingly enough there are a lot of death knight there now and yes you can run ramps with just 4 death knights.

I have a bunch more smaller alts which I play with from time to time, everything except the 'W' classes, warriors and warlocks. Not sure why that worked out that way, but for some reason I have no desire to play those classes.

So there you have it, more back story that you ever wanted, but ever so slightly less than I wanted to type.
